Engineered for still wine in 1.5–3 l formats, this stand-up spout pouch gives European buyers a compact alternative to rigid glass and conventional bag-in-box formats. The pouch can be built in food-contact PET/VMPET/PE laminate for strong oxygen and light barrier, or in a mono-PE recyclable structure where the filling line and shelf-life brief allow. A welded spout with tamper-evident cap supports clean filling, controlled pouring and resealing after opening. The flat stand-up base is sized for stable shelf presentation and efficient case packing. Film grade, spout diameter and fitment style are selected against the wine specification, fill temperature and expected distribution conditions before sampling.
Filling can be carried out on spout-pouch lines using standard automated or semi-automated equipment, with spout orientation, cap torque and fill-volume checks agreed during the trial. For wine, we recommend validating oxygen ingress, seam integrity and drop performance with the actual product and closure before commercial release. Printing uses 10-colour rotogravure on the reverse or surface as the artwork requires, allowing brand colours, varietal information and EU market text to be produced in one pass. Typical MOQ is 10,000 pouches per design and structure, with smaller trial quantities discussed for qualified projects. Sampling normally starts with plain or printed prototype pouches, followed by pilot fills and line trials so that buyers can confirm filling speed, seal quality and shelf presentation before bulk production.
For German and wider EU buyers, the specification can be reviewed against food-contact requirements, PPWR-aligned recyclability goals and local deposit or collection realities. Mono-PE constructions are offered where the brief prioritises recyclability; PET/VMPET/PE laminates remain available where barrier and shelf-life targets demand a multi-material approach. We can supply film and pouch specifications for the buyer’s own compliance assessment and arrange samples for laboratory migration and performance testing through the buyer’s nominated laboratory. Filling-line fit is checked through spout dimensions, cap type, pouch stiffness and case-pack layout. Lead times are confirmed after artwork approval, material availability and sampling sign-off, with production planned in Dongguan and export packing prepared for EU freight.
