This bag-in-box is built around a food-contact grade PET/AL/PE or PET/VMPET/PE laminate, supplied as a fitted bag with a wide-bore screw cap and a corrugated or solid-board outer box for still mineral water. The flexible insert protects the water from light and ambient odours during storage and transport, while the wide-bore cap supports clean filling and reliable dispensing. Bags are produced in our 15,000 m² clean workshop on 10-colour rotogravure presses, allowing brand, volume and EU label information to be printed consistently. Filling-line compatibility is reviewed at sampling: cap fit, bag dimensions, box tolerance and pallet format are checked before production. MOQ starts at 10,000 bags per artwork, with sampling available before bulk release.
For EU buyers prioritising PPWR-aligned packaging, we can review mono-PE or PE-heavy structures where the mineral-water shelf-life and filling method allow, alongside the aluminium-laminate version for longer ambient distribution. The bag-in-box format separates the flexible insert from the outer board, supporting material sorting after use. Cap, spout and film specification are matched to the customer’s filler, capping head and box-erection line; we confirm neck type, spout position and bag-to-box fit during pre-production samples. Print registration is checked across the 10-colour rotogravure run, including small EU statutory text and batch coding areas. This is a specification-led BIB project rather than a one-size pouch, so artwork, film gauge and box board are fixed only after filling trials.
Typical lead time is 15–25 working days after artwork approval and sample sign-off, depending on film structure, cap availability and box-board printing. The bag-in-box is supplied as a flat-packed insert plus outer box or as a ready-to-fill kit according to the filling line; please confirm whether you need manual, semi-automatic or automatic box filling. We can quote 3 l, 5 l and 10 l formats, with wide-bore screw caps and optional tap configurations subject to application review. For German and EU buyers, documentation can include material specifications, food-contact grade film declarations and packaging weight data to support PPWR and EPR reporting. Every project starts with a physical or pilot sample so that the filling team can validate fit, flow and closure performance before the 10,000-bag MOQ run.
