This valve pouch is specified for sauerkraut brine, where salt content, acidity and aroma retention demand a robust flexible structure. We can produce a high-barrier PET/Alu/PE laminate for oxygen, light and flavour protection, a PET/VMPET/PE laminate for cost-effective barrier performance, or a mono-PE recyclable variant for PPWR-aligned packaging programmes. All contact layers are food-contact grade, and the final specification can be supported with EU-facing documentation appropriate to the selected materials. The pouch format is compatible with valve/spout fitments for controlled dispensing and can be sized for 5–10 l volumes, with custom dimensions and headspace agreed around the filling method, closure type and transport conditions.
For filling-line fit, the valve/spout specification should be fixed before pouch conversion: neck diameter, flange style, cap or valve type, torque target and filling method all influence the final bag geometry. We can match common fitments for automatic and semi-automatic lines and recommend trial samples so your team can validate opening, filling, closing and dispensing on existing equipment. Branding is produced by 10-colour rotogravure printing in our 15,000 m2 clean workshop, with artwork separation, colour targets and physical or digital proofs agreed before production. We can print registration marks, barcodes and EU market label content as required. For sauerkraut brine, we recommend validating the closure and film seal against your process temperature and expected shelf-life conditions.
MOQ starts from 10,000 pcs per SKU/design, with sampling available before bulk production so buyers can check film hand-feel, valve function, print colour and filling performance. We quote lead time after artwork and specification approval, allowing for cylinder engraving where new 10-colour rotogravure artwork is required. For EU buyers, we can discuss material reduction and mono-PE recyclable structures against PPWR-aligned packaging goals, while confirming that food-contact and barrier requirements are still met for sauerkraut brine. Please share your target capacity, filling nozzle or valve interface, closure preference, artwork and any required EU documentation so we can issue a precise quotation and sample plan.
