These sauce-base vacuum pouches are specified for 500 g to 5 kg fills and are built around a PA/PE food-contact grade film intended for EU food applications, chosen for strength, puncture resistance and a reliable vacuum seal. For more demanding recipes, PET/NY/PE or high-barrier PET/AL/NY/PE structures can be quoted, with film thickness and seal width matched to the product, fill weight and handling route. The pouch format can include rounded corners, tear notches and a flat or gusseted profile to suit manual or automated packing. Because sauce bases vary in viscosity, solids content and temperature at filling, we confirm the structure and sealing window before sampling. Production runs on 10-colour rotogravure presses, so graphics, legal panels and repeat marks can be printed in register on the finished pouch.
Filling guidance is part of the specification: for sauce bases, the pouch can be run on vacuum-chamber or nozzle-vacuum lines, depending on viscosity and particulate size. We recommend sharing fill weight, product temperature, headspace and line speed so the seal geometry, vacuum level and pouch opening can be reviewed together. The flat seal area is kept clear for consistent jaw contact, and optional tear notches or hang holes can be added outside the seal zone. Before bulk production, we supply pre-production samples for filling trials and seal checks, so German and EU buyers can validate pouch handling on their own equipment. Sampling is arranged after artwork and structure approval, and the sample brief records size, film, print colours and sealing direction.
MOQ starts at 5,000 pouches per SKU and design, with lower trial quantities discussed case by case for first sampling. Artwork is prepared for 10-colour rotogravure, including repeat length, colour separation and ink selection aligned with food-contact requirements for the approved film specification. For EU buyers, we keep documentation and material declarations aligned to the chosen structure, and we can evaluate PE-based or mono-material options where recyclability and PPWR readiness are priorities. Lead time is typically 15–25 working days after artwork approval and deposit, subject to film availability and print complexity. Please send capacity, sauce type, filling method and target shelf-life so we can propose a practical vacuum pouch specification and sampling plan.
