This 0.5–3 l valve pouch is engineered for beer concentrate, combining a filling spout with an integrated one-way valve so the pack can vent or dispense without opening the main fill path. The film can be specified as a food-contact high-barrier laminate, such as PET/VMPET/PE, for aroma and light protection, or as a mono-PE recyclable structure where the concentrate, shelf life and filling-line parameters allow. Gusset and fitment position are set around your filler, capper and downstream case-packing layout. We confirm the exact structure, valve cracking pressure and spout bore against your product and line before sampling, keeping the design aligned with EU food-contact and PPWR-oriented packaging objectives.

Printing is handled in-house by 10-colour rotogravure, allowing the valve pouch to carry brand graphics, filling instructions, batch fields and Germany/EU market information on a controlled repeat. We can run matte, gloss or tactile varnishes and place the valve and spout so they do not interfere with the print panel or automatic filling. Typical artwork is checked for colour separation, bleed and fitment clearance before plates are cut. Sampling usually starts with plain structures for line trials, followed by printed pre-production samples after artwork approval. For lower-volume launches, we discuss sampling and print-efficient artwork layouts; for full rotogravure runs, MOQ is confirmed by film structure, print colours and fitment type rather than assumed.

Filling-line fit is central: the pouch format supports semi-automatic or automatic spout-filling, with valve orientation, spout diameter and pouch stiffness matched to your equipment. We recommend line trials with beer concentrate to check fill accuracy, headspace, valve wetting, seal integrity and case packing before commercial release. Food-contact grade film and fitments are selected for the application, and documentation can be provided to support your EU compliance assessment. Lead time is typically confirmed after artwork, film structure, fitment tooling and sample approval; repeat orders follow the approved specification.
