This foil pouch for wine uses a high-barrier laminate such as PET/AL/PE or PET/VMPET/PE to protect aromatics and limit oxygen ingress during storage and transport. The sealed pouch format suits still wine, de-alcoholised wine and wine-based beverages in 1.5 L, 3 L, 5 L and 10 L capacities. A welded 33 mm spout or optional tap fitment supports clean filling and controlled dispensing on bag-in-box-style lines. The film is supplied food-contact grade for EU buyers, and we can discuss PE-rich or mono-material recyclable-ready structures where the wine shelf life and filling process allow. Print registration, seal strength and spout placement are checked against approved samples before production.
Branding is produced by 10-colour rotogravure printing on the foil laminate, with matt or gloss varnish and matte-window options where transparent film areas are required. We can print brand, vintage, volume, legal text and EU market information, then supply a digital proof and physical pre-production sample for filling trials. Standard MOQ starts at 10,000 pouches per design and structure, with lower quantities considered for repeat or multi-SKU projects. Sampling typically takes 7–10 working days after artwork approval, and production lead time is confirmed once the spout, film structure, print colours and packing method are fixed. Plate costs and cylinder storage are quoted transparently before order confirmation.
The pouch is designed for filling-line compatibility: spout welding, top-seal geometry, tear notch or handle options, and packing orientation can be adapted to existing semi-automatic or automatic wine filling equipment. For EU projects we focus on food-contact grade film, migration-conscious material selection and PPWR-aligned design choices such as reducing mixed materials, optimising pouch-to-product ratio and offering recyclable-ready PE-rich options where performance permits. We do not claim certifications unless the final structure and supplier documentation support it; buyers receive material declarations and sample-based specifications for their own compliance review.
